Smoking Kills

The reason that the photo looked interesting to me is that the lady’s skeleton is in jail. My first question is: What are the reasons for smoking? I think being stressed, being alone, and having nothing to strive for makes people sad and being sad makes people more likely to smoke. People who are in jail are dealing with all these things at the same time which means cigarettes are the best thing for them. So, why do we allow people to have cigarettes while they are in jail? Obviously we are letting them kill themselves slowly: which looks to me like “we can not kill you because of your crime,so kill yourself.” Isn't that supposed to be against the law?

In the background, we can see that the person in prison was counting the days until she got out of jail. However, she never knew that she was counting the days until she died instead of counting the days until she got out of jail. Smoking is that deadly.
